According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in June 2022, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 521 750 ?Wh of electricity, 3.139 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 436 990 tons of coal and 97 452 tons of petroleum products.

Gross national electricity production participated with 71.4 % in gross national electricity consumption, while 97.1 % of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
